About Mallory

I began my career in birth work in the Pacific Northwest and relocated back to the east coast (where I grew up) in 2021! I have been working with families since 2014 and as a doula and educator, I adore supporting parents on this journey through such a transformative experience.
My perspective on birth is firmly rooted in evidence and advocacy. There is no RIGHT way to do things, just the way that is right for you. I believe that all birthing people deserve to be respected, cared for, safe, and trusted during their pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum recovery. My goal as a childbirth professional is to hold space for parents to get the support they need during these big transitions in their lives. This support looks different for everyone, and I strive to personalize the experience with the families I am connected with, or to refer directly to birth support that may be a better fit.
I currently teach group & private Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Classes, offer birth doula services with an option for extended postpartum support, and volunteer with Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood.
I love to read, write, create art, craft, organize, cook (and eat!). It is important to me to be actively involved in my communities, so you can often find me at my kids’ schools, meeting up with friends, volunteering with organizations that are important to me, and seeking out trainings and conferences as often as possible!
